Cookies policy
Which files we use, what for, and how you can change your mind at any moment. Without your consent, only the ones the store cannot run without are active.
1.1. Cookies are small text files that your browser saves on your device. They let us recognise the browser on its next request. That is why the cart does not vanish when you move to the next page, and why you do not log in again with every click.
1.2. Besides cookies we use the local storage of the browser (localStorage). It works in a similar way, except that the data is not sent to the server with every request. In this document we treat both mechanisms the same way and list both in the tables below.
1.3. The legal grounds, the retention periods and your rights are described in the privacy policy. This page covers only what we save in your browser.

2.2. We save necessary files without asking for consent. Without them the service you asked for (the cart, signing in, remembering your privacy settings) simply will not work. The basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the store running, that is art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
2.3. We save analytics, functional and marketing files only after you consent, on the basis of art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is voluntary, and withholding it does not limit your ability to shop.
2.4. To collect consent we use our own panel, hosted on our server. It does not pass your choice to any outside company. The decision stays in the memory of your browser.
3.1. In the consent panel we divide the files into four categories. The first cannot be switched off, and the other three are off by default until you switch them on yourself.
- Necessary: the session, the cart, the wish list, protection against abuse and remembering your privacy settings.
- Analytics: the number of visits and how people move around the store. We analyse the data in aggregate so that we know what to improve.
- Functional: remembering your choices between visits, for example the products you viewed most recently.
- Marketing: we do not use any advertising tools on wallyboards.eu at the moment. The only file in this category is written by the Google tag and is listed in the table below. If we add advertising tools, this category will control them, and we will update this policy before they go live.
3.2. To steer the Google tools we use the Google Consent Mode mechanism. Before you click anything in the panel, every consent signal is set to denied. Analytics and advertising tools then save no identifiers and build no profile.
4.1. The table below covers cookies and local storage entries as they stand on the date this document was updated. The retention times are maximum values. You can delete the files earlier in the settings of your browser.
4.2. Names with an asterisk or with the letters X contain a variable part, that is the identifier of a particular measurement property.
5.1. You can change your consent at any moment, with no reason given, in three ways:
- with the Change cookie settings button at the top of this page, which opens the panel with a switch for every category;
- with the „Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page of the store;
- by deleting the files directly in the settings of your browser. You will find instructions for particular browsers in point 7 of the privacy policy.
5.2. Withdrawing consent works going forward. It does not invalidate processing that took place earlier on that basis. Once you withdraw it we stop saving new files from that category, but the ones already saved you delete yourself in the settings of your browser.
5.3. Blocking cookies completely in the browser is possible, but it also switches off the necessary files. You will most likely be unable to finish an order then, because the cart will not remember the products between steps.
6.1. Data from analytics and marketing files goes to the providers listed in the tables above. The most important of them are Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) and Cloudflare, Inc. We do not pass data from wallyboards.eu to Meta or to Google Ads.
6.2. Some of these entities process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. The transfer takes place on the basis of a European Commission adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
6.3. We do not sell data from cookies and we do not share it with anyone other than the tool providers listed here.
6.4. You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to erase it, to restrict its processing, to object and to data portability, as well as the right to complain to the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office. The details are described in point 6 of the privacy policy.
7.1. We check the list of files from time to time and after every change to our measurement tools. Date of the last update: 24 September 2026.
