Painting reproductions on canvas - for the living room, bedroom, and office

Canvas painting reproductions are one of the most popular ways to decorate interiors. At Wallyboards, we have been printing them since 2009 exclusively based on high-resolution photographs, on canvas manually stretched over a stretcher frame. Our offer includes both famous Polish painters and masters of world painting.

Painting reproduction for the living room - how to choose the size and style?

The living room is the most common place for painting reproductions. Large formats (100×70 cm, 120×80 cm) work well above the sofa or on the wall opposite the entrance, creating a natural focal point for the interior. Impressionist compositions with a soft color palette fit modern arrangements. Genre scenes, portraits, and landscapes with a distinct framing suit classic ones.

Reproductions for the bedroom - peaceful compositions, warm tones

The bedroom follows different rules than the living room. Landscapes, still lifes, and works in calm tones such as beiges, blues, and muted greens work best here. Reproductions of Olga Boznańska with intimate portraits in pastel colors, Monet's landscapes, or Vermeer's peaceful scenes fit the character of the bedroom perfectly.

Polish and international painters – what will you find in the collection?

We divide the collection into reproductions of Polish painters - Wyspiański, Matejko, Malczewski, Boznańska, and reproductions of international masters, including: Monet, Van Gogh, Klimta, Rembrandt. The same rule applies to both categories: exclusively high-quality museum photographs, with every reproduction checked before shipping.

How is a painting reproduction made at Wallyboards?

We print on natural cotton canvas with an irregular weave, which perfectly captures the character of traditional oil paintings. The printed sides make the artwork ready for display without framing. We manually stretch each canvas over a solid pine frame with tension wedges, which guarantees stability and prevents deformation over the years. Optionally, we protect the painting with a layer of varnish, which shields the colors from UV rays and scratches.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a canvas reproduction and a poster?

A canvas reproduction is printed on a cotton substrate with a texture similar to an original oil painting. It does not reflect light, does not yellow, and comes ready to hang without a frame. A poster is a print on paper it is more affordable but requires framing and is more sensitive to moisture.

Is the reproduction ready to hang right away?

Yes. We stretch every canvas over a pine frame with printed sides, and all it takes to hang it is a single wall hook.

How long does production and delivery take?

Each reproduction is made specially for you. We need 3-5 working days for printing and stretching the canvas. The courier will deliver the package within the next 2 working days.

Where does the source material for the reproductions come from?

We use exclusively verified, high-resolution museum photographs. Thanks to this, the reproduction faithfully reflects the colors and details of the original, even in large formats.

Can I order a reproduction in a custom size?

Yes. Reproductions are available in several standard formats, and we can print the image in any size upon request. Write to us before placing your order.
