Common questions about custom stickers

How much does it cost to make your own stickers?

A single A6 sticker starts here at PLN 11 including VAT, 70 x 30 cm shop window lettering at PLN 24, and an A3 sticker at PLN 30. Those are prices for one piece. On a larger run the unit price can drop several times over, because the cost of preparing the file and the cutting path is spread across the whole series. Give us the number of pieces and we will work it out exactly.

Where can I get my own stickers made?

At a manufacturer that prints and cuts on site, which means there is no middleman and no minimum quantity. We have been a Polish manufacturer of signage since 2009 and we take orders from a single piece. All you need to do is send the file, we do the rest.

What file should I send for sticker printing?

A vector file is best, for example PDF, AI or SVG, because it lets us cut the sticker exactly along the outline of the shape. Raster artwork works too, as long as it has enough resolution for the target size. No file? A description or a sketch is enough, and our designer will prepare the artwork.

Will the stickers survive outdoors?

Yes, if we choose outdoor vinyl with a laminate. The laminate protects the print against UV radiation, rain and scratching, so the colours do not fade. For indoor use we use a cheaper vinyl without that protection. Tell us where the sticker is going and we will match the material.

Can a sticker have any shape?

Yes, we cut around any outline, so a sticker does not have to be a rectangle or a circle. It can take the shape of a logo, the silhouette of a product or lettering cut from the letters alone, with no background. That last variant works beautifully on shop windows and glass.

Can they be peeled off later?

It depends on the vinyl. The standard one has permanent adhesive and leaves marks when removed. If the sticker is meant to be temporary, for example for a seasonal window promotion, we choose a vinyl with removable adhesive. Mention it in your enquiry, because the material has to be chosen before production.

Projects we have made for our customers

The stickers below were made to individual orders. Treat them as inspiration and as proof of what is possible: we will quote and make your design in exactly the same way.

What are custom stickers?

They are stickers printed from your artwork and cut around the outline rather than to a rectangle. The shape can follow a logo, the silhouette of a product or the lettering itself cut from the letters, with no background. We print single pieces and whole runs, in any size, from a small label to lettering across a whole shop window.

Vinyls and finishes

  • Indoor vinyl: cheaper, for labels, shelf markings, equipment descriptions and indoor decoration.
  • Outdoor vinyl with laminate: resistant to UV radiation, rain and washing. For shop windows, vehicles, plates and outdoor markings.
  • Permanent or removable adhesive: permanent holds for good, removable lets you take the sticker off without leaving marks, which matters for seasonal promotions in a window.
  • Window version applied from inside: printed mirrored, applied from inside the room and viewed from the street.

What file should I prepare?

A vector file is best, for example PDF, AI or SVG, because it lets us set the cutting path exactly along the edge of the shape. Raster artwork works too, as long as it has enough resolution for the target size. With lettering cut from letters it is worth remembering that thin elements below a few millimetres are hard to apply, so with delicate typefaces we suggest thickening them or a sticker on a clear background.

Fitting

The surface has to be clean, degreased and dry. Larger stickers are transferred on application tape, which holds all the elements in place until the whole thing is stuck down. We apply from the centre outwards, pushing the air out with a squeegee. With large lettering it is worth marking the level with masking tape first.

Where do our stickers work well?

They are most often ordered by shops and venues for windows, opening hours and promotions, by manufacturers for marking machines, racking and zones, by workshops and service companies for vehicle graphics, and by producers for labels on their own goods. Decorative stickers for interiors and promotional stickers form a group of their own.
