Stanisław Stefan Zygmunt Masłowski (born on 3 December 1853 in Włodawa, died on 31 May 1926 in Warsaw). Impressionist by nature, student of W. Gerson and A. Kamieński. Permanent resident of Warsaw, frequent visitor of other countries and cities in search of fascinating views and plein-air painting. He stayed in Munich many times and often travelled to Italy and Paris. He was also fascinated by the painting of Ukraine, its landscape and folklore.
The artist was most interested in watercolour painting, he was also close to creating oil paints.
