Ferdinand Ruszczyc of Lis coat of arms (born December 10, 1870 in Bohdanów, died October 30, 1936) is a Polish painter representing the symbolic current of Young Poland, a student of the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. He made frequent and numerous artistic trips to Crimea, Sweden, Paris, Cologne, Berlin. He was also a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. With the consent of his parents, he abandoned law studies for art.
