Leonardo da Vinci (born April 15, 1452 in Anchiano, died May 2, 1519 in Clos Lucé) is an Italian Renaissance artist.
First archetype of Renaissance man - painter, architect, scientist, philosopher, musician. Although his origin made it impossible for the artist to obtain a university education, he tried to obtain an informal education on his own.
Throughout his life, da Vinci has invented a huge number of inventions, such as the prototype of a photo camera, mechanical excavator or parachute. He also dreamt of sky-haired flights, his notes contain sketches of a prototype of an airplane.
The artist has led to a significant increase in knowledge about human anatomy, construction or hydrodynamics.
