Paintings reproductions - Edvard Munch
Edvard Munch is a Norwegian painter and graphic artist, one of the most fascinating artists of the modernism period. In Munch's painting the motif of death and the unbridled fear that accompanied the artist for most of his life was repeated very often. Munch also struggled with many mental illnesses and alcoholism. The spectre of death and madness did not leave him either.
His painting debut is the work of the Old Church of Aker. After his graduation Munch gave up all his professional activities and devoted himself entirely to painting.
Selected works: Shouting, Vampire, Madonna, Anxiety, Self-portrait at the clinic, Kiss, Jealousy, Death in the patient's room.
